We noticed in a recent survey that huge percentages of hacking attempts are being done due to weak passwords. We are focused and working hard to provide optimum level of security to our valued customers. In the efforts to achieve this, we are going to implement a policy at server level from 25th Feb’14 so that all users will be forced to keep strong password.
If your existing password does not meet the minimum standards set at server level, a page will appear in front of you to change your password with strong one. We recommend you to take this action proactively before 25th of Feb’14. Or you don’t need to take any action if you already have a complex password.
NOTE: There will be a bar appear at time of changing password with a number 65 which is the level of secure password out of 100 and 65 is the minimum standard suggested by Cpanel. It doesn't mean you need to set password of 65 characters, 8 character password must work if it is a combination of special characters and alpha numeric digits.
