How to create an add-on domain or pointer in cPanel?

Overview of Addon Domain?

 An Addon Domain is a domain name which points to its own folder within public HTML and appears as a separate website from your primary domain. This allows you to have two separate Web sites on your account. An addon domain is a fully functional domain that can be created from within your control panel.

Following steps are given with snapshots for help to create addon domain:

 

Step: 1

Login into cPanel with authorized username and password.

 

 

Step: 2

After successfully login in cPanel, scroll down to the domains section.

Click on addon domain option.

 

 

Step: 3

Fulfill all the required information needed for the addon domain with FTP account associated with addon domain. Click on Addon button.

 

 

Step: 4

You can also modify your addon domain by searching it, then click on GO button.
