This is a step-by-step tutorial on turning off Login Failure Daemon (FDL) warnings from Web Host Manager (WHM). An important security tool in cPanel is LFD, which alerts admins to possible login errors on their servers.
But occasionally, a deluge of these notifications may overflow your inbox, producing needless distraction.
We'll walk you through the process of effectively disabling LFD warnings in this article so that your WHM experience doesn't suffer in terms of security:
Step 1: Log in to WHM
Provide your designated username and password to log in to WHM.
Step 2: Select ConfigServer Security & Firewall
Navigate to the Plugins section and select ConfigServer Security & Firewall.
Step 3: Click csf
Find your way to the csf- ConfigServer Firewall.
Step 4: Select Firewall Configuration
Proceed to Firewall Configuration with a click.
Step 5: Click Off
Navigate to the LF_EMAIL_ALERT section and click the "Off" button to deactivate LFD for all cPanels.
Step 6: Press the Change Option
When everything is finished, save your changes by scrolling to the bottom of the page and press the Change button.
Step 7: Return to the ConfigServer Security & Firewall Page
Once completed, return to the ConfigServer Security & Firewall page.
Step 8: Select ifd
Navigate to the lfd - login failure daemon tab.
Step 9: Click Ifd Restart
Press the lfd restart button—voilà!
