Manage Team Feature in cPanel

This productivity tool lets you easily collaborate and delegate to others in your web hosting environment. Whether it be a small team or a big group, the Manage Team feature would make the job of adding roles, setting permissions, and increasing the level of productivity a snap.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Provide your designated username and password to log in to cPanel.

Step 2: Click Manage Team

Click "Manage Team" in the Preferences section.

  1. Creating A Team User

Step 1: Select Create Team User

Choose "Create Team User" from the options on the left, along with "View Audio Log".

Step 2: Fill Required Information

On the "Create a Team User" page, enter a username, set a password, and select optional roles.

Step 3: Select Preferences

Now review the available services, including email, FTP, and web disk. Select whether to enable or disable each one.

Step 4: Press the Create Option

After completing the required steps, click on the 'Create' button under the 'Security Settings' section at the bottom. And there you have it—your user is successfully created!

Editing a Team User

Step 1: Click Edit User

Click on "Edit User" located next to the "Suspend" option.

Suspending & Unsuspending a Team User

Step 1: Press the Suspend Option

To suspend a specific user, click the "Suspend" option next to "Delete."

Step 2: Select Unsuspend

To unsuspend the user, choose the "Unsuspend" option.

Deleting a Team User

Step 1: Click Delete

To delete the specific user, simply click on 'delete' next to the suspend option.

Step 2: Finalize Changes

To finalize, click 'Delete' once more at the bottom to confirm your changes.

Viewing the Audit Log

Step 1: Select View Audit Log

To view the audit log, simply select 'View' above the user list.

Step 2: Viewing Audit Log Page

Now you've accessed the page displaying the audit log list, complete with details on API Version, call, and origin.
