How do I restart services in cPanel?

The following article explains how to restart services in cPanel. While the service is restarting it will be temporarily unavailable.

To restart a service, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and connect to your cPanel Control Panel located at https://ip address:2087.
  2. Login as the Administrator using the information sent to you in your setup email.
  3. From the Restart Services menu, select the service you wish to restart.
  4. Confirm you would like to restart this service.

As a service is restarted, a notification will appear to update the progress and let you know when the service has been successfully restarted. If there is an error that occurs during the restart, you will be notified of the details.
